Soma

Soma explores the body as a tool of creative expression and examines the forms that emerge from the interaction between body and material. By directing the gaze inward and consciously slowing down the passage of time, a heightened sense of bodily awareness unfolds. When everyday movements are removed from their usual context and isolated, they transform into acts of expression-free from functional purpose yet rich in meaning. This transformation reveals new perspectives on the relationship between body, movement, and identity. The resulting objects are the outcome of a bodily performance drawing. They have been 3D-printed in resin and serve as a medium for exploring personal and interpersonal spaces. In the fusion of body and object, visible, tangible, and expressive moments of sensory experience emerge-an invitation to rethink the boundaries between material and movement.
