Mika Meinck uses two contrasting and well-known design languages: the industrially produced steel anchor chain and the classic one to three-row pearl necklace. Goods by the metre from the DIY store versus an exclusively high-quality natural product. M. Meinck fuses the characteristics of both in a surprising new form. Her synthesis of the traditionally conservative pearl with the banal anchor chain illuminates both forms in a new way. A pearl necklace with an innovative appearance that communicates regardless of age and gender.
